{The Road Not Taken}
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

MOXXOR

Hello.

Since I am taking care of my Mom at home and cannot leave the house to earn a living, I am asking for your support. I have recently become involved in a groundbreaking product that is superior to the fish oil you are taking for Omega 3's.

MOXXOR is a powerful concentrate of all-natural omega-3s and antioxidants exclusively from the pure pristine environment of New Zealand. MOXXOR takes the exceptionally potent Sauvignon Blanc grapeseed husk and refines it to capture the world’s preeminent antioxidant along with the immune-supporting properties of the New Zealand Kiwifruit seed that is teeming with all 8 members of the vitamin E family. Researchers have shown that antioxidants effectively combat free-radicals.

My husband and I have tried it and have felt positive results after one month! Aches and pains were lessened and feeling energetic and healthier! I am an independent MOXXOR business owner. Check out my Moxxor website.... www.mymoxxor.com/lwklebid for more information.

There are even products for your pets if you are interested! Let me know. If you do decide to purchase MOXXOR please go to my website. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,
Lucya Lebid

Welcome to MOXXOR, a powerful concentrate of all-natural omega-3s and antioxidants exclusively from the pure pristine environment of New Zealand.

The story behind MOXXOR begins in the spectacular Marlborough Sounds region on the South Island of New Zealand where the nutrient-rich Tasman and South Pacific oceans collide. In this natural pristine environment grow Perna canaliculus, the New Zealand greenlip mussel, source of a powerful and effective all-natural omega-3.
Today, Noel and John Turner are fulfilling their vision of bringing this powerful and effective all-natural omega-3 to you.

For over thirty years, scientists and researchers have known the properties of the greenlip mussel grown only in New Zealand. New Zealand greenlip mussels are shown to have the highest concentration of omega-3 essential oils on the planet.

Looking to provide a complete world-class wellness product, MOXXOR has added two powerful superfoods.

The visionaries and co-founders of MOXXOR, Noel and John Turner, have taken a powerful all-natural omega-3 and blended it with potent antioxidants to create MOXXOR.

Poem by Nyla Alisia

Displaced, accepted for publication in the

2011 issue of The Gold Man Review.

Displaced

(My toes sink in and sweet-grass makes room. A prairie flower may be plucked from this place but her roots cannot be torn from the red soil. --My journal, Wyoming - July 17 1993)

The prairie

so far away,

closing eyes,

I am there still.

Warm wind

makes love to skin.

Thunderheads roll

the horizon

like ghost-dust

remembering buffalo.

Summer washes sky

barely blue,

more bleached

than bones.

Wading deep,

sweet-grass waves

tickle legs.

White poppies

intoxicate

bumble bees

large as pony beads,

wings drumming hard.

I was born

already buried

in this place,

womb of thought

brings rebirth,

delivers me

to red-soil earth.

Lingering palpable,

a heartbeat

heard even now,

it's melody

calling me back.

I am

bound there still,

veins running wildness,

I feel it

inside,

the mustang

pounding in my chest.

Nyla Alisia - Oregon 2008

Poem by Douglas Pugh

the way of the warrior

it is only the dealing of death -

a cessation of life given to those that oppose,

whether by the winged head of an arrow

(no angel despite the feathered flight)

or by the brutal hack or thrust of steel

(multitudes of shape or form do not

clothe the chill bite, no art this,

just function)

and the battle is the summation of these

scant attention to the sun, cloud formations

above grassed valleys, the course of a hare

the absence of nature in this froth of chaos

all is aimed at a moment,

the release of joy from one side or the other

more tautly held than any bowstring

and launched, as victory is seen and clear,

it is followed by the grim pause

the silence of the arced flight,

moments where songs and poets

spill words of glory in their minds

it is a poor formation of relief,

guilt in surviving, anguished loss

of fellows, comrades-in-arms

and the halls, flowing with mead,

gushing with bravado

will hide one crucial fact

that the field where we buried humanity

in other people's bones is lost,

nor would we care

to find it's carrion picked pyre

drink, fellows, drink the horn dry,

stain your beards, your finery,

braid your memory until it is choked

into silence, a brooding forest

watching that day go by

in a muddy field

Unfocused look

Broken Down

Broken Down
Broken down to a single quivering cell
an amoeba of despair
an amalgam of solitary cells trying
to survive.
The day
the hour
the minute
the second.
Striving to succeed.
To rebuild the mass of million cells
to replicate and reproduce a
healthy specimen.
The main ingredient missing
the only stoppage in the plan
before the total breakdown of being.
An ocean of tears couldn’t wash away the pain.
The sum of all parts
producing nothing
nothing that cannot be repaired.

For Dina, a poem

Wounded birdie
hobbling spirit
warbling song warped
perched precariously on a limb
mournful music
permeating the air
drowning the mind’s noise.
Sad sad little sparrow
eyes downcast
the burden too big
to shoulder on
this little birdie’s soul.
Limping along brave
face on…
despair and dejection mock
every attempt at flight.
Searching for respite
a place of peace
tending to duties without care
languishing life
time gone.
